Resolution
I want to focus.
I want to have enough time for the writing online, fannish, roleplaying, and otherwise, that I enjoy. I want to be able to succeed IRL, too.
Sometimes, I believe I have enough time to do it all.
Sometimes I'm afraid.
I need to step back. I need to stop "watching trainwrecks," as they say. I need to stop wasting time in communities and subsites where I'm not happy, where I'm not going to be happy, where I know I'm not wanted. Where I can guess I'm not wanted. Even if I'm guessing wrong, the fear doesn't make it worthwhile.
It's a slow process, of focusing and not winding up distracted and wasting time. But I have to start somewhere.
