The Naismith name becomes a mixed blessing for Bujold throughout the series- the Cordelia's not that well known outside Beta Colony is the primary explanation, but situationally that explanation is inappropriate, which either means a) the Miles identity stuff will be strained and implausible to the reader or b)the Miles identity stuff will be so hilariously convoluted that it makes for great plot.
