I mentioned before that sometimes having (virtual) conversations with my colleagues--usually about large-scale national issues rather than "stuff our office is doing"--can make me feel like a Gauvain in a convention of Cimourdains.

However, that's still better than listening to colleagues explain their issues about how our office could improve, and having the management respond like (the apocryphal quotes of) Marie Antoinette.
