The "Season of Death" is upon us! I've been spoiled for/osmosed some developments but also some things are happening over different time scales than I'd anticipated, so still plenty of twists and turns.

The episode title/general foreshadowing piece appears at the start of the guest star titles, after the intro sequence. Just so nobody misses it.
Scorpius knows Talyn's name, when did that happen? I mean, "oh look it's Crais and the gunship" happens on several occasions, but did Scorpius ever bother to learn the name Aeryn gave?
It's explosive because of all the lutra oil, is that a continuity nod to the first season?
Now Zhaan has to do Unity with Aeryn, who barely remembers herself.
"Because I love you" -- Zhaan to Aeryn, awww.
Scorpius: "Crais, you destroy this ship, and my command carrier will destroy you." Crais (chipperly): "Possibly! Talyn, are we in agreement?" Talyn: *cocks gun* What a team.

Rygel is watching Chiana touch herself, grooooooooss.
D'Argo: "How could she say no?" Cut to: Chiana: "Noooooooo more tonight, Jothee, I'm tired."
Stark: Be sure and tip the proletariat.
Maybe all the episode titles are going to be listed now.
The alien's been resurrected and Jothee is just worried about whether he caught them doing it. The mood whiplash here is pretty funny/distracting, there's so much going on with Aeryn coming back, Zhaan dying, the wormholes, but no, we have to worry about Chiana's love triangle.
"I'm an expert on dying, I'm just not an expert on you dying." Stark to Zhaan, awww.
D'Argo threatening to kill the son he's been looking for for like eight cycles (again, the math doesn't really add up_? Come on, I don't buy it.
The spaceport from outside is another visually stunning setting.
Summoning storms because they're desecrating sacred land. Another premise that's kind of "interesting in 2022." Like, I'm firmly on team "cool motive, still murder," but they could have used another sentence or two explaining why the spaceport has to be here and can't just move somewhere else.
"I need longer than an hour to repent." - Rygel
"The holy Gezma's punishment will be..." John waving his hand like "get on with it."
And then the shell callback with D'Argo. :(

Zhaan's instrumental background music is sweet and sad. :(
John immediately realizes that the alien problem is a language barrier, pretty impressive. Ryland Grace (from "Project Hail Mary") would be proud!
So they're inside a wormhole right now? All that trouble Scorpius went to to get the chip and he could have just followed John along for a few more episodes, what luck.
Zhaan still takes time to pray for the alien corpses.
Zhaan basically entrusts Stark with caring for the others. I was hoping for a more explicit callback to the Leviathan deity's charge to her to take care of Moya and Pilot (maybe with Aeryn, because Aeryn and Pilot have that bond? and Zhaan gave her life for Aeryn). But we'll take this.
"John's obsessed with wormholes now." Is this a side effect of chip-Scorpius wearing off? Or just indirectly, like "Scorpius wants wormholes so much that he did all that evil stuff, it must be super important."
Rygel tries to sabotage John's trip in the Farscape module, and it's annoying that he's still very unlikely to get any comeuppance.
The slideshow of all the planets is neat. Is that just flashbacks from other episodes? Or from some outside source about the diversity of Earth cultures? Or did they just make those mini-"settings" for this?
D'Argo: "I thought you were good with women" hahahaha yeah, no chivalrous John here!
"We're holding your families hostage and we'll kill them if you screw up" doesn't seem like a very efficient way for a technologically advanced society to run their research expeditions.
Okay, and now we get some version of the "my duty was to Moya" conversation.

My new name for the hibernating alien is going to be Jewel-Osco, close enough.
Time is like a wheel, hmm, where have I heard that one before.
Aeryn and Zhaan, survivor's guilt :(
Stark resorts to his prison-cell type babbling to make Jool quit complaining about her problems.
"Will...is no match for alloy crushed by astronomical tidal forces."
Jool's chest is very...male-gazey. So is Chiana's, tbf, but...eesh.
Zhaan: when I was first a prisoner on this ship I prayed that the Luxan monster would go crazy and kill me" :(
Jool: "You killed my cousin." John: "It was an accident!" Here we go again.
John's memory is set in Georgia but the passing car looks like a Minnesota license plate? You can tell what my priorities are, heh, I don't really care about "Harvey"-Scorpius in the same way I don't really care about the D'Argo/Chiana/Jothee triangle.
"Redemption will find you" awwww, Zhaan, what a speech.
The "Three Stooges" allusion is too old-school for me. (I understand that "Farscape" is a couple decades old, but this was also a thing in "Project Hail Mary," and it's like...Dr. Grace could have found a more 21st-century allusion!)
