Rygel: "Sikozu thinks with her head, not with her [in-universe fake swear]." Chiana: "Yeah, that's her problem."
Rygel's plan is to overeat until he vomits, classic.
"The bacteria that causes the virus" wut? I feel like the technobabble is usually not this dumb.
Noranti: "You can yell at me later." Rygel: "I'll be dead later." Noranti: "You'll be dead sooner if I don't synthesize a cure."
They try torturing John the same way they tortured Aeryn in the "previously..." sequence :( But he's neither pregnant nor Sebacean so he's not vulnerable to heat that way.
Sikozu: "If the freighter takes off we abandon all hope." John: "We abandon all hope of living long and prosperous lives, and follow the freighter."
Sikozu to her new pal: "Two, possibly three females are being held hostage" is she counting the baby as potential #3? Does the baby's sex make a difference?
Scorpius: "My Peacekeeper spy can give you Crichton himself." Well, technically, he's not wrong!
Noranti: "By my actions, I have taken innocent lives." Rygel: "Welcome to Moya." Aww? Self-aware Rygel is, again, kind of OOC, but their dynamic was fun. Also in terms of being incredibly unattractive by humanoid standards, particularly with Rygel's "sloughing" right now, they kind of deserve each other.
Harvey is back? If he's broadcasting all the wormhole tech to Scorpius, why would Scorpius agree to rescue Aeryn, he doesn't need a deal?
Deterrence with weapons of mass destruction, fun fun. (Not.)
Isn't selling out just what Furlow's plan was?
Stark appearance!
John: "We got on, we got off. Well, we tried to get off, we got interrupted."
Scorpius claims to be a spy now?
"Kill him and let's go." John not messing around.
I don't really care if this is a fake or not, the protagonists playing chicken with nukes is not my idea of a fun time. Nor is learning how to Earth dance in the elevator with a bomb. Sorry.
So Harvey is still around...but if John doesn't betray Scorpius again he'll leave him alone? Eh. After all John has been through I'm not sure "Harvey is still there but just hibernating" is really successful. Also I am really not a fan of the Harvey scenes.
"You used me." "You used me first." "You're better at it." "You're learning." The vibe.
John throws what Grayza did to him back in her face, oof. Also, Commandant, please wear a real shirt.
Noranti: Who's Stark? Rygel: Another lunatic with the wrong number of eyes. Noranti: Oh...
"What's Scorpius doing?" "Giving us the shaft, as usual." :D
Sikozu just...radiation blasts everyone without any collateral damage to the team as long as they're not looking? Feels cheap, especially since we saw what radiation did to the other John.
"Adhere to the name you have chosen for your kind." -Scarrans calling out the "Peacekeepers."
Okay, I know I make fun of the Peacekeeper leadership for one-by-one going crazy, but props to Braca of all people for peacefully relieving Grayza from command! After we see all the officers' :/ faces about "oh yeah we're totally doing a suicide attack." If you live long enough you see Braca become the hero.
Aeryn in the crazy elevator: My head hurts. Mood.
John: "How much is this worth?" Scorpius: "Oh at least my life." John: "What about the wormhole debt?" John...actually following through on keeping his promises like an adult? You love to see it!
"We should have voted, oops."
John and Aeryn saying they love each other because they're bad at goodbyes <3
And then the morning after, turns out a bomb is all we need for D'Argo and Chiana to get back together. And Sikozu and Scorpius?
"How long does it take you to recover?" "I don't know, I've never done this before." Is she talking about the radiation blast or sex? Double entendre?
The "previously on Farscape" montage is just very fast clips as the theme music plays. One from every episode? Including the animation one, haha. "And finally, on Farscape..."
John to Aeryn: "I'm afraid of commitment." Cut to John and D'Argo, and Aeryn and Chiana, discussing "well did you/he mean that in the context of relationships?" Back to John and Aeryn: "Will Earth ever be able to make a commitment...with Peacekeepers?" "...Maybe." Aww.
John is back to nuclear brinkmanship because it worked so well last time, sigh.
Nice music in the "John has a breakthrough about wormholes" part.
Pilot nerding out about wormholes, awww. I feel like this is more than we've gotten from him in a while.
The cassette tape! And he's doing the intro, awww.
Harvey talking about Easter? Religious symbolism? John hasn't betrayed Scorpius (recently) but he's still showing up?
Aeryn and Pilot face touching!
Pilot is really his own person this episode, I feel like this is the most we've heard from him as an individual for a long time, this is great.
Stark and Talyn callback!
John camps out on the moon and sees his dad's picture.
Oh, maybe he does have two sisters?
"You want your kids to surpass you, by that metric I'm the greatest dad in the world" awwww.
Everything so far has been really really good as a "we're getting canceled and not getting a fifth season like we wanted" wrapup. The end is...iffier. Chiana goes blind as a result of memorizing Pilot's maneuvers to help Stark, there'd been her foreshadowing about "the visions are getting worse and worse, another one and I might not recover" so that kind of ties together, but I think we needed a little more connecting the visions with the inciting incident last season. The John/Aeryn miscommunication stuff was awkward, like, they've strung out this baby stuff for so long that "yes, I'm pregnant, and it's yours/John's" felt awkward. But the proposal going back and forth between them and the aliens was a nice touch of what the show is all about. Then random other aliens swoop in and rain on the parade, boom, the end, "to be continued?" Apparently they didn't actually know when/if they were going to be continued, so they just did that out of spite/hopes of a miniseries wrap-up later? Bold. I would have been very upset if I'd been watching in real time assuming that was actually the end, though.Anyway, four seasons! And "Peacekeeper Wars" is pretty brief so I'll probably wrap that up this weekend. :)
