Okay the elderly guy hanging out with Lan is actually Tomas (Verin's warder), I'm not sure how Adeleas and Vandene fit into all this. (For show-only peeps: during the books, when Moiraine is researching cryptic prophecies in this time period, she hangs out with a pair of elderly Aes Sedai who are literal as well as figurative sisters, named Adeleas and Vandene. Verin is a separate character, who is spending time at the Tower researching prophecies. In the show, I think they're eliminating Vandene, and having Verin crashing at Adeleas' place.)
