"Let's open up a business to sell people chemicals that are bad for their health and will make them act weird."
"Sounds good, but we should also sell food."
"Yes, at high prices, with slow service and make it difficult for our customers to get staff's attention and place an order."
"Excellent."
"Also it should be very dark and hard to see."
"Okay but we should also have flashing colorful lights, that'll keep them busy."
"Right. And we need loud music playing always, so it's impossible to hear."
"Amazing, it's like we're assaulting all the senses at once."

There's a longtime establishment in my neighborhood that's cash-only. Which isn't so bad, people get used to bringing cash there. And there's an ATM inside, just one with silly fees, the usual.
But the broader area also has a serious homelessness problem, and it's harder than usual to ignore panhandlers asking for cash when you're...you know...in line at a cash-only place. The store should really join the 21st century with technology just to prevent loitering.
