More writing updates

primeidealAfter a couple days of very small-scale, incremental progress on this project, I finally zoomed ahead and wrote many more words today. And it's like...when I'm below the minimum, I wasn't sure how long it would be and worried it might be on the short side. Now that I'm in the thick of it, I'm way past the minimum and might even run towards the long end. I'm not sure how to describe the sense of "progress" in terms of "how close am I to knowing what shape or form this will take when it's done," but it's definitely a non-linear relationship!
It will still need editing to be consistent in tone, there were parts where it's like "how much detail do I want to go into, I don't want to distract the reader with names of unimportant characters who they don't really care about...but if I do that in the next scene, I should do it in this one as well."
