Communication skills, we have them. (Sometimes.)
-The Dragon's fang in the water! Nice imagery.
-Everything about the Lan and Nynaeve interactions is excellent. "Aww, you actually did try to kill me."
-Rand: "All roads lead to the White Tower" Mat: "That's not how roads work" touche.
-Rand: "We have to go to the Tower since Egwene will be there" Egwene: "We have to go to the Two Rivers since Rand will be there" Oh nooooo the miscommunication.
-Perrin, solving the coordination game problem: "Think about it, Rand will go where he thinks you're going."
-Nynaeve: "Go ahead and ask, I know you want to." Lan: "How did you track me?" Nynaeve: "I said you could ask, not that I'd answer." Nynaeve isn't even considering being an Aes Sedai at this point and she is already an expert on Three Oaths loopholes.
-I gross out easily so I'm not going to think too hard about what Nynaeve's treatment method for Moiraine's wound entails.
-Does Perrin have yellow eyes in the storm/dream sequence? Or are those Ba'alzamon's?
-The gleeman's cloak with its rainbow patches, nice!
-And the Tinker colors being bright and garish, very good.
-Aram's eyerolly attitude towards the absurdity of the ritual even as he explains it to Perrin and Egwene.
-Dana the barmaid ships Mat/Rand
-She wants to see the world, which is a good excuse for namedropping some of the other locations we might get to visit some day
-Aaaand her curious probing questions were indeed because she was evil :(
-Thom just happens to know the Aiel funeral ritual. (I guess gleemen are welcome in the Three-Fold land so maybe he's been there?)
-Thom's "Western" theme music is better than his actual singing.
-Rand is just able to bust down the door and Dana doesn't even strike. This feels like one of those "several books/seasons down the line it will be so much harder to get out of these situations, both sides' skills are leveling up," but he doesn't even have to worry about harming a woman, just punch the door and run.
-"I see all five of you" so Ba'alzamon thinks Nynaeve is in the mix?
-Dana is a true Ishamael wannabe, she appreciates his philosophy on wanting to end the wheel and stop everything. In addition to the notoriety of being the one who brought down the Dragon. (Hopefully she gets to see the world before the universe ends, otherwise that'd be a waste.)
-Thom with his life advice to Mat has that open-ended "maybe we'll meet again" feel and then they meet five minutes later when he saves them from Dana.
-The way that last scene is filmed sort of makes it look like a dramatic first meeting between Nynaeve and Logain, much earlier than the books. Of course they're not going to have a very significant relationship, but knowing how their paths cross in the books that felt like an interesting focus.
