primeidealFurther to this post, I cannot believe it took me three months to write 4500 words of that story, and just last night I wrote 2300 words about bleeping vampires.
Actually, yes I can believe it, not only because the evidence is obvious but because the vampire story was emotional and drawn from RL in a way that involved almost no research or perspective-changing (both of which the alternate-history took a lot of). I wrote a story about dragons recently that was similarly "easy" in that it's mostly satire. But still.
